OM SHREE GANESHAY NAMHA
TODAY WE WILL DISCUSS ON CHAWAR/ CHAUR SAHIB/ CHANWARA/
CHAWER. Chawar is hand waving fans made
from soft hair with easy and comfortable grip and long metal body or handle . It is a sacred fly
whish because it is believed that God pleasing current of air. They are
immensely used by Jain Sadhu, in Gurudwara’s and many temples.
Some MYTH that I find floating in internet are as follows:-
- MYTH:- Chaur or chawar refers to tuft at the end of lion’s tail
- Myth:- its extracted or made from Himalayan yak
- Myth:- sythitic hair or nylon or fine threads are used and weaved to make chawar, etc
Nowdays people are unaware of the fact of Vedic living, no
one can give me the real answer of –What is chawar? –How it’s made? –what is
the material used in it? – Why monks, saint, and spiritual people hold it?
I want to clear because my objective to make a blog is to
enlighten people about the fact and true knowledge as per VEDIC TRUTH which is almost
lost.
Now coming back to the topic CHAWAR is sacred whish which is
just used to throw away negative energy because it is made of INDIAN DESI COW
TAIL, know again you can think that the Cow which we found in plain and plateau
are not as thick and hairy.
YES!!! You are right…
The Cow which is selected to make Chawar is HIMALIYAN INDIAN COW called
as CHOW OR CHAWAR GOW one of Indian Cow breed. As we know there is lot of cold
in Himalayan region the hair of cows grows fairly long and thick because of it “looks
and beauty” the Chawar were in demand and that’s how we get its NAME –Chawar,
Chavar sahib, etc.
Cow is sacred and auspicious being which was NOT considered
as animal by Vedic sanatani people. But now, people are ignorant and forgotten the
greatness which is mentioned in our scriptures and also transferred by our ancestors
that’s why the Vedic sanatan culture turn to diminish from its zenith.
Reference from our ancient text about the sacred and divine
power of Chawar or Cow’s tail-
SHRMAD BHAGWAT PURAN
canto 10, chapter 06
In shrimad Bhagwat it is mentioned a story about Putna
rakshasi (demoness) who was is killed by a infant GOD Shree Krishna, Putna is
also consider as a foster mother of Krishna as she breast fed him but with a
motive of killing by poisoned the milk. However lord Krishna killed her, after
that all saw little GOD fearlessly playing on Putna’s body.
They quickly came and pick him up and Mother Yashoda with
other Goipies immediately performs the auspicious rituals by taking the tail of
a cow and circumambulating over Little Lord Krishna.
One more thing I want to add here is a "totka" or tip that if some body is facing evil eye or black magic should circumambulate any Cow's tail or even chawar will help if you don't have a cow at home, that will surely help you to come out of various negative energies.
Now friend s lets end this blog believing that you must have
liked this information on Chwar.
