Akshay tritiya
Akshay tritiya is the most auspicious day of Hindu’s. It is THE
blessed occasion in Hindu calendar. Akshay tritiya is also called as Akti or Akha
teej. It is celebrated on the month of Vaisakha third day of bright half moon (shukla
paksha).
As per Vedic text Akshay tritiya Akshya means the imperishable,
immortal, and eternal and tritiya means third day. Thus it is a day of unending
blessing. We should do sadhna, seva and spiritual practice.
To achieve the financial
growth and prosperity commencing business new venture or a new beginning is recommendable
but Akshaya teej is more for inner growth and development.
As per our scriptures
what are the new venture or beginning started on this auspicious day:-

Ved Vyas recited Mahabharar to Lod Shri Ganesh, and
Lord Ganesh start to write the Mahabharat Puran with his broken teeth.

Lord Krisha saved Maa Dropati from the Korawa’s

This is great day for new beginning, new venture’s and to
start any Spiritual pious practice.
But in Kal – Yug many people are miss guided by utilizing
this day for materialist gain’s only, which is no good and also not mentioned
in the scriptures. Example- purchasing gold, silver or cars. When the human
body is immortal than how gold or any wealth can be mortal. Body is perishable
and temporary, so invest your time, money and energy for a greater cause which
will be with you in this life and the entire after lives.
Akshay titiya is a day which should be dedicated to earn blessing
(punyas) by chanting mantra’s, deep meditation, serving needy, etc So the good
deeds and punya’s are always with the immortal SOUL.
